Georje’s Crochet Groove was born out of a simple rhythm — a shared moment of creativity between a mother and daughter that grew into something much bigger than we ever imagined. What began as evenings spent crocheting together, experimenting with colors, textures, and patterns, slowly blossomed into a true family craft tradition. With every stitch, our loved ones cheered us on, offered ideas, and helped bring our cozy world to life. Before long, our hobby became a heartfelt small business shaped by the support of our friends and family.
Crochet has always been more than a craft for us — it is a language of joy, memory, and connection. When we stepped into our very first market, it wasn’t simply about selling what we made. It was the presentation to the public of characters and practical items we had created as gifts for our personal circle. Sharing them with the public was nerve racking! We weren’t just sharing products; we were sharing a piece of our family.
Seeing people stop at our booth, connect with our designs, select their favorite critters, and share their own stories reminded us exactly why this journey matters. Handmade art has a way of bringing people together, and on that day, we felt the full magic of community, creativity, and the groove that started it all.
